The Ridge is still rebuilding, and it is rebuilding on a different set of rules than what was there before: new sewer where there were septic systems, driveways that a fire engine can turn around on, and defensible clearances that get inspected.
Ridge lots are sloped, tree-covered, and often reached by a single narrow road. That means small machines, hand work at the edges, and a haul plan made before anything drives up there. It also means drainage matters more than anywhere else we work: a burn-scar watershed sends water and debris downhill fast, and a culvert that was adequate in 2017 is not now.
